    Java support for Mozilla?

    Does that exit? If so, where can I download the pluggin?

    Yeah it exists. If I remember correctly just visit the plugin page and you can grab it. I am at work right now, so Ill have to go home and see for my self (once I get off work).

    Remember though, you need to be root to update the plugins.

    just download it from sun.com
    then symlink the plugin from the java tree to ur mozilla/plugins directory, restart mozilla and that's all

    Could you give me a link of WHAT to download? There are 2871 things to download from java.sun.com

    If you want to do it the easy way just go to any page that has java. Likely Mozilla will prompt you to install the plug in. You need to be root to install it. Remember though that if you have plans on installing jre or the like you will have to remove the plugin. IMO I think that this the fastest way to get the plugin.

    that way never seems to work. just download it here:
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/download-linux.html

    follow the instructions specifically as it was a little tricky when i first did it. post back if you need help.

    Hey Sarah, running netscape as a root? Not a good idea. root=no X that's the rule.
