    2.5 series kernel

Does anyone have any luck compiling the 2.5 series kernels? No matter what I do it always stops with some error message. I woud really like to get USB 2.0 going. I know it's still beta, but it should at least compile.

Yup, but it didn't work afterwards... hang out at #kernelnewbies and they'll help you out... btw. I think someone is working on a backport of USB2 already

I'm sticking with the 2.4.18pre's with MJC patches...

Well, 2.5 is a development kernel, so unless you're planning to do some kernel hacking I'd advise you stick with the 2.4 tree
