    Installing GTK with apt-get

    I have never been able to install the right gtk stuff through apt-get. Can someone tell me how to install the gtk through apt-get. Right now I am trying to compile xsane so I need to have gtk.. Thanks for you help

    make
    make install
    ;D

    I dunno about GTK through apt-get. I always just installed stuff and apt would install everything else that I needed, and it would just work...

    looks here for GTK entries, i assume you are running woody.
    http://packages.debian.org/testing/x11/
    http://packages.debian.org/testing/devel/
