I trying install mosfet-liquid0.7 *on Suse 7.3 , KDE 2.2 , but I got the following message:

linux:/home/$/mosfet-liquid0.7 # make -f Makefile.cvs
This Makefile is only for CVS repository
This will be deletes before making the distribution

*** Searching for subdirectories...

make[1]: aclocal: Comand not found

Any ideas?

looks lik as if its not finding aclocal .. try
whereis aclocal
and if its found somewhere do cp <location found by whereis> /usr/bin

now it should be available if this doesnt help you should search for a (GNU) automake rpm on the suse cd and install it.

You need autoconf and automake... make sure you have them both.

I checked /usr/bin and aclocal was already there , so I installed automake rpm and the message changed for this:

Thanks KP_BOFH, but , autoconfig was already installed too.

strange but looks like it still isnt finding aclocal ..
can you post here what whereis aclocal brings up ..

luro95, not to mess with you having fun with installing from source, but have you tried to install the rpms made available? I used the suse 7.3 rpms from mosfet's site, and they worked like a charm. * ;D
