Well I used Cooledit in Windows, with the vinyl cleanup addon.

Gave very good results for me, added 100 cds to the collection, with all the good ol' records.

Well, I was thinking about folks like me who can't afford to spend ~300 bucks for the combo Windows + CoolEdit and don't want to pirate the software either.

I for one won't be going back unless war crimes winders changes their ways, and even then I'm pretty darned happy with Linux.

I would love to do this in Linux, but it's was somthing we played around with before Linux became really popular in our household. And as long as the old man is paying, who am I to object ?
