invalid scan frequency? an X issue?

    hi there,

i was wondering if i need to change a setting maybe in my XF86Config-4 or something because after my screensaver goes for about 10 minutes or so, my monitor goes black and has squiggly lines all over it with " invalid scan frequency" on the screen.

i move the mouse and of course it goes back. anyone have this issue?

Sounds like your power management is turning off the Video out due to inactivity. (0MHz, hence being out of range).

Look in the power settings of your BIOS.
