They use it at CERN? I did not know this. Clearly this is overwelming evidence that FVWM is the best. I am seriously wondering why any other WM was concieved in leu of the fact that FVWM is obviously far and away the best WM ever concieved of. I will switch to FVWM immediately!

We'll hook you up. Check out the sreenshot thread and have a look at pbharris' and my shots. Pick whatever you like and we'll send you the config files. Also Fetzaa (sorry, dude, if I misspelled that but I never can spell thing that I can't even pronounce ) might be able to provide his files.
The man page is actually quite good reading, too.

You might also want to check out fvwm-themes (fvwm-themes.sf.net) which is a good point to get started when you have now idea what fvwm is capable of.

Enthusiasm! I actually have been looking at much information on Fvwm and did use Fvwm95 back in the old RedHat 5.2 days.

I'll let you know how things go. I am running Fvwm as we speak. ;D

I have used every window manger I know of and given each of them a fair run - i.e. used them for a good week or so. I always come back to fvwm - nothing else I have used gives me what fvmw does.

Well, I do see the power in Fvwm, but good God, man, setting it up is a pain in the ass!
