    oh and d00d... remember to dynamically link Cdparanioa to grip or grip will not benefit from cdparanoia upgrades.

    There's a nice console ripping frontend called jack. It supports freedb lookups and both MP3 and OGG (amongst other formats).

    Ripping with a freedb lookup is as easy as:
    $ jack -Q

    I like it anyway - take a look (don't know the URL I'm afraid)
