    HOWTO:Accesse Website from Apache Web server in LAN

    Hi,
    I'm very new to apache HTTP so please forgive me for being naive. I have problem viewing my homepage from another computer in my Local Network Area. I don't seems to know how to do it.

    I can view my website in the same conputer after starting apache unser http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1 but i can't view it in my other computer.

    Pls help. thanks in advance =)

    Hello,

    127.0.0.1 is Loop Back Address can only be access by the System where its installed you can try http://192.168.0.1/ etc etc.

    sorry....

    I don't really get it? do you mean i have to set a static IP address in the network configuration of my Linux server? i'm currently running Redhat Linux .. I have tried to set another Host in my Network Configuration to 192.168.0.1 in IP but it still seems not to be working at all.

    oh never mind... i get it already... I can view the page in my LAN just by typing a static IP address assign (network configuration) ..... thanks anyway =)
