    Help Un-install WManager from root?

Slackware8 is my first linux install. *Didn't know what I was doing when I installed it. *So I installed WM for root. *Come to findout that I should not be in root unless I have business there in which case I don't need a window manager there or do I?
Question is if I don't need the Wmanager in root -- how do I uninstall (Window Maker) Window Manager from root? *Think I prefer not having a window manager in root since i as i become better aquainted with linux. * Thanks

There's no need to uninstall it, just don't run it as root.

Do you boot to the command line or to x? I, for one, prefer to boot to the cli. If I need to jump to x, I just startx. Otherwise, I don't fool with it. Don't worry too much about running your window manager while logged into root. What one can mess up in x, one can mess up out of x. It is wisest to do whatever you need to do while logged in as user and just su when you and only when you need to.
