KDE has klipper, which basically is a clip buffer history. I'm not really sure if that will help you at all, but you could simulate what you're talking about with a clip buffer history.
Is there an app for any OS, that allows one to have multiple copy buffers. *So if one is doing a rather repetitive task involving the same 5 things over and over again, to be copied inot its own buffer and pasted when ever called upon?
