Is it the route command?
I want to access the web server on a computer I'm configuring with Linux Fedore Core 2. The host name is jukebox. I can access the web server on the Linux box by typing http://jukebox in a browser. (Great, something works!)
If I type http://jukebox on another PC on the LAN I don't get the server.
What am I missing?
My LAN has a wireless router which is using dhcp. (no static ip's)
Help?
Is it the route command?
Dear omnivore,
Hello,
You need to setup your DNS server or you edit your /etc/hosts and add the IP Address of the server where site is running
For Example !!
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
192.168.0.10 jukebox jukebox
192.168.0.9 mybox mybox
Best Regards.
