    adding users in mandrake

    hi,

    merry chrsitmas first off.

    pretty straight forward. how do i add a user in mandy? i want her to be able to log in with her own name, settings, etc. i dont see it in the login manager
    or in the control center. ??? :

    just go to a terminal / console as root and do useradd <username> then do passwd <username> , and you have a fully functional new user

    Another way is to use the user manager in kde.

    i found out running kuser as root works too.
