    creating a shortcut in gnome

Just installed Netscape 6.2, the only thing I can't figure out is how to create a shortcut on my desktop(gnome). To get NS to run I have to go to the RUN box. When I do get a shortcut on the desktop it does nothing, so If somebody could point me in the write direction I would be very greatful. Thanks in advance.

Did you try this? *Put a link in your /.gnome/desktop directory. *I believe it would be /home/user/.gnome/desktop or similar. *I put the link on my gnome toolbar. *As I recall, all I had to do was to drag and drop the NS 6.2 executable from nautilus, then I found an icon I liked for it.
