    Changing Video Card

First off, I am brand new to Linux, so go easy on me. I was trying to run WindowX, but I have selected the wrong video card driver. How can I change the driver? Oh, one more easy question, when I list all the files in a folder I am not able to see all the files. Is there a command such as the dos dir/p so i can see the files, then see the next list, and so on? Thanks.

Here you go, I hope this answers your question:

For XFree86 you can run xf86cfg (graphical) or xf86config (text mode) to reconfigure your settings and drivers. Make sure you are root when doing this.

To list all files in a directory you use the command ls -a (or ls -la to show the permissions as well).

When i go into xf86config, it never asks me to change the video card adapter. i know for a fact now that i selected the wrong video card.

    Re: Changing Video Card

    hello,
it will go through the setup like it has never been done before at all. there are roughly five bazillion cards to choose from in the database, so it may be a bit tricky picking the exact right one.
