i already downloaded cups and compiled it.
It gave me several packages which i then installed.
i started the daemon and tried to configure it via my browser. There doesnt seem to be a wide range of drivers.. especially for my lexmark: there are none.
Are there other packages i need besides cups?
cups-drivers? i heard of something called cupsomatic.. do i need those too?
ok.. i got it working now
Well dont leave us in suspense, how did you get it working, it might be helpful to someone else who is trying to install cups.ok.. i got it working now
Cheers
