I have purchased the LHN series of Peter Harrison and find it really useful and informative - I see the author has used Fedora since it is free and recommends using Fedora before migrating to Red Hat installs - I am trying to understand why not use CentOS which is a rebuild distribution of Red Hat instead of Fedora (which is a clone of Red Hat)?

Since Fedora is a clone of Red Hat and has certain implementations that differ from Red Hat - whereas Centos is rebuilt from the same course code and is essentially free too.....

just curious why was Fedora chosen over CentOS.....?
