make usb as installation media

Hi,
i am not have dvd drive in my laptop i want install fedora 15 from usb drive. i am trying this command
"dd if=fdora.iso of=/dev/sdb" but it cont booting please help me

Hi,

I think you cannot boot the machine from iso image, for this you have to download the fedora extractor from the fedora website, extract the image to USB, then change bios setting to boot from USB, then restart the machine. Hope it will boot from pendrive then.
