Hi i am using ERP in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS,
my server configuration is Intel xeon 2 Ghz, 8 GB Ram, 160 GB HDD(RAID1).
The memory is always 6.5 GB and free memory, i want to know which is using the memory space, i tried with top commands it shows what are process are running but i don't know which is process using memory

hmmm im not too sure sorry. I was always told that the top command was not a good way to find out exactly what is using your memory, as it has issues or does something weird with your page file. Another idea is that it might be your video card that driver that is consuming your RAM (if your computer is running a GUI). My computer allocates 1gb of memory to the video card (I have 8gb of RAM too).
