Why things are so quiet on the forums

a few years ago, this forum was absolutely packed full of traffic. Heaps of regulars and stuff, just a few of us left now

Yeah, for me work ebbs and flows so its easy to log in and post some weeks and others I might not even get a chance to check my email..curazey..

Not sure what happened to all the regulars, I suppose its like many things it has a lifespan. Then again, beez you are probably referring to the time when the Foo and...the other site had all their members transferred here..

In general Forums are not as popular as they once were during the internet bubble years.

Very true Larry...most of the people that frequented forums have had kids and gotten full time jobs where they are actually expected to do work..oh wait, that might just be me.. :-)

Either way, with the surge in popularity of MB, MS, twitter, forums are starting to go the way of IRC..
