    partition size limits?

Hey everyone, I was partitioning my 40g hd for linux yestereday for my server. It seemed to go well, but everytime I try to mount it, it shoots back an error. I am using rh7.0 for my server, and just setup a basic two partition table (1 30g for main and the rest for swap). Is there an upper limit for partition sizes in 7.0?

I think a 10 gb swap partition is a little excessive.

Does linux complain when mounting the swap or the 30 gb part?

Yeah. My swap partition is 270 MBs, and with 128 MBs of RAM, it barely ever gets touched.

Yeah, I was doing a trial run on it to see if it would work. I dont think my bios will push it. It sees that there is a huge hd there, but will only register 33 gb of it, but when it checks the geometery of it, sees that that is incorrect, and wont go any further with it. Sorry for the delay, been gone most of the day.
