I have installed, as root, the trial version of turboprint as it seemed the best way of getting the drivers I needed. No problems with this software itself.
How can I get turboprint to start up automatically at boot up? At present this will only happen if I keep the X-terminal with the relevant command in it open when I shut down. Failing this I have to open a terminal in root and tell turboprint to start.![]()
It is not clear in the manual, but it implies that if you use an RPM or DEB you should be OK. Is there an init script for it in you /etc/init.d?
