    Plain English Tutorials

They are overlooked, can we bring back the PET forum, so people can post ideas for PETs and drafts.. maybe that way people will actually read the PETs.

good idea, a pet forum would encourage more people to read and to work on the pets ..

I'm not sure about the separate forum for it ( if there is not much traffic, then it's just taking up the space ... )....

All PET needs is more writers and mentioned when it's time to do so by many of us here .....

Actually a PET Request section may be a good idea. There are alot of times I can remember when trying to figure that thing we came to love and hold dear (Linux) was driving me NUTS, and the one cure was a printout to sit and follow.

PETs are great, and the more that get done the better. Why not have some form of a request section?

Even if the PET forum is low traffic, it is still worth it. The distributed computing section is low traffic, but it catches some people's attention, which makes them want to join up. So, it wouldn't be a bad thing. There are a few other low traffic areas as well (Mac's come to mind).

I am working on a PET (or it may become several seperate PETs) on partitioning software. I don't know when it will be available for "beta testing", but I hope to have it by the end of next month.
