as far as I know, FAT filesystems can only be so long. Maybe you have too many folders within folders?
Hi all. I have a server in my garage that I access using good ol' SSH. I also use the NXClient as well. The other day I left the console logged in for about 4 or 5 mins, and I noticed that my console kept coming up with this message:
roadcast Message from root@tyler-gales-imac-3.local
(no tty) at 20:27 EST...
Aug 25 20:27:24 tyler-gales-imac-3 kernel[0]:
I can still do everything just fine, I can still run commands and everything, but for some reason, this comes up every time I do something. Never did it before :S Any ideas?

Hmm..three things come to mind
1) Was there a question in there somewhere @trosbivoc ? Not sure what you are looking for
2) If your question is about the error you are getting, you might try actually reading the message. "File name too long" is pretty self explanatory
3) If you are going to hijack a thread at least do it to one that there is some activity, @beezlebubsbum posted this error and and we promptly ignored him three months ago :P
I think this is a spammer based on the signature. Three links to the same URL. I'll ban them and delete the post.

Surprisingly, they are better conversationalists than many of the more geeky people I have had to work with in the past.
