Home network setup with AD & domain controller equivalent

Hi. I currently have one windows laptop, and 3 linux pcs that will potentially run a windows virtual machine or two, all behind a router. I want to move away from local logins and have some sort of network login in place where all the pcs join a domain. My network backbone right now is a linux pc, and I would like to keep it that way. What services do I need to accomplish this and how? LDAP, samba, and bind?

    thanks in advance
