Help setting up my home network

Hi,

I,m a novice with this stuff so hope some one can help?

I have two desk top PC,s. Both are wired to the same router and each can access the web. Neither can see each other though so I,m assuming I need to configure this.

I,m running Ubutu 9.02 on both PC,s

Can anyone help.
