    How to open port 80 without having to start httpd ?

    Hi,

    Is it possible to open port 80 for http request
    without having to start httpd ?

    Sure, set any other deamon to listen on port 80, then it'll answer instead of httpd

    yes sure you can do it, but make sure while using other running on port 80 don't run other services on same port like http.
