    eterm

    when i open eterm it says:

    bash: TMOUT: readonly variable

    Then gives me a prompt. i guess it doesn't matter, since it still works, but it is annoying. anyone know why? none of the other console programs do that.

    is there anyting in your ~/.bashrc or ~/.bash_profile setting this ?
