mouse pad, and usb mouse, mandrake 8.2 laptop

ok, so i am having problems here, i have a laptop, mandrake 8.2 and i am unable to make the mouse pad that is built onto the laptop and the usb mouse both work at the same time, like it does in windows anybody have any ideas?

hum - i have never tried it but do you have two definitions in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 ?
