Sendmail error

Hi all,

I have installed sendmail on my fedora machine. However I have problem sending mails to external parties. And when I do a grep sendmail /var/log/maillog ...The errors are: cannot create smtp port...address in use. And connection time out.

How do I resolve this error?Please advise

Find out the name of your ISP's SMTP server. Edit /etc/mail/sendmail.cf. Look for the line beginning with "DS" and modify it to (example) "DSsmtp.myisp.com". Then type "service sendmail restart".
