Finding Wordperfect on Corel CD

I bought the Corel distro for $10 just so I could get the Wordperfect deb off of it. I can't seem to find it. I installed Corel on an extra pc I had laying around and Wordperfect is now installed but I want it installed on my pure Debian machine. Any ideas?

Have you looked on the CD? It's probably installed as a deb. If not you'll have to find al the needed files and copy them over to a tgz or something.

try doing a:
find /cdrom -name '*word*.deb'
(assuming your cdrom is mounted to /cdrom)

see if that shows anything.

Okay. I had already done a find on it. I was searching for *word* but it could not be found. I then I used *wp* and there it was.

Check LibraNet's website; go to Support, click on "support solutions database". There's an article there that tells how to install Wordperfect 8 on LibraNet- I think, with some tweaking, it'll work on any Linux distro; but Debian-based would be easiest.
