I'm looking at turning an old dell chassis I have into a file server. I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a PCI eSATA controller with good linux support for 750GB drives. I plan on using an external enclosure and I haven't decided whether I'm going to purchase an enclosure with a RAID controller inside or leave the RAID for the PCI card (I only want RAID 1).

and then get an enclosure that supports RAID 1.
Since I'm going PCI, I don't think it hurts to get a SATA 1.5 controller...
