Mails of CronJob!

I am using FC4 and I have set different cron jobs, if i set "MAILTO" to any system user i get the mail, but i set it to any outer address then i don't get the mail.What can be the problem?

I don't know, I just always pipe mail to users in the crontab, e.g.:
0 0 * * * /bin/foo 2>&1 | mail -s "SUBJECT" someuser@mailserver.com

Might be worth it to check /var/log/maillog though...
