Problem in Linux Instalation

Hi.. Friends,I am unable to install Linux Enterprise Edition 4.0. I have SATA DVD Writer. If i use this to install Linux its not working. But if i use IDE Device then i am able to install. How can i install using SATA. Please help me.

i think RHEL 4 doesn't support sata dvd writers ...

Hi , You have instaslled windows any version if yes than which File System you used you not mention details .....

Check your BIOS and make sure it's set to use all SATA devices in PATA mode.
