Date and time display

Is there any chance of getting the usual option to configure the date display especially? The MM-DD-YYYY is confusing when you are used to DD-MM-YY(YY).

Sorry. I thought I was being clear. I mean the forum. I'd like to choose the date format displayed on the forum. It's a fairly standard option but I can't find it here.

I'm pretty sure it's a forum specific setting. If it was anywhere, it would be in profile options.

FYI, this is how the date displays in the first post in this thread:

That's using the usual Western or UTF-8 encodings.
