Dear friends,
In the DNS scenario we will update the record by putting a manual entry... If the entries are bulk is it psbl to put a entry using script kind of thing. Example in windows we will make a excel sheet having those entries and update the DNS record by just importing the list... Please let me to know abt it soon.... Thank you.
Hi , i can'0t understand wich is the enviroment you are using the dns . whatever if your talking about bind9 ( on linux ) you can link it with a mysql backend, but not directly as you can do with an "armonic" system like windows. Let me explain better, bind9 is an indipendent program so if you want to export DNS records you must pass trough a script/program that apply the changes to zone files and restart the bind daemon.
If you would like to use some more "dynamic" approach you can use MyDNS , it's a dns server that is linked to mysql to store the zones files. I've never used MyDNS , so i don't know how it stores zone anc cache .
I repeat your question is too abstract.
