YUM configuration

I have some problem to configure the yum
Please tell me all steps to configure the YUM

I only know yum from fedora, and it already comes configured. The only problem you might have is if you want to add extra repositories, but you should be able to figure out the format from what's already there in /etc/yumrepos.d or what ever it's called. Look at yum.conf for the name.
Also 'man yum' should help.
