Installing VMWare Tools on FC6

Hi,
I am using VMWare Workstation 5.5.0 on M$ Windows XP and I have installed FC6 on the virtual machine. I have installed VMWare Tools on FC6 but when I want to conigure it, I get this message:

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]

and I think the directory of the kernel headers is

/usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-1.2798.fc6-i586

and when I enter this at the CLI and press Enter it says:

The path "/usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-1.2798.fc6-i586" is an existing directory, but it does not contain a "linux" subdirectory as expected.

I don't know what is the problem. Is the path to kernel headers wrong, am I using wrong version of kernel headers?(i586 - i686).
Can anyone please help?

My PC Info:
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+
RAM : 3GB
