    Detect ARP Poisoning

I am newbie in Linux. I have some problems in networking about ARP Poisoning. My questions are:
    1. Does Log file keep al networking activities and ARP traffic?
    2. If Log file keeps all ARP Activities, how can we detect multiple MAC address from Log file in bash script?
    Please...help me
