    LAMP +phpmyadmin

Hi guys. I have setup Ubuntu's latest server edition. 7.04
Easiest install I have ever done - All my hardware just worked.

    installed php5 - apt-get install PHP5
installed phpmyadmin - apt-get install phpmyadmin
updated everything - apt-get install update

I browse the net to find my site, cool got the "it works" page from apache.
I browse to the phpmyadmin page and for the life of me cannot log in. Doesn't matter what username I put in I get:-

#1045 - Access denied for user 'www-data'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

This is the first time I Have used phpmyadmin.
Can anyone help me start. What do I have to configure to log in from the net?
Do I need to setup any passwords for MySQL or phpmyadmin?

    Anything else I should know

    Cheers
Its better to regret something you have done than to regret something you havent done :P
