    Postfix Setup Problems

Testing my webserver which works fine and moved on to getting the email set up. Running postfix as the mailer program. When I send mail using pop protocol to username@localhost.localdomain the mail goes through, but when I try to send it to username@MYIPADDRESS the email client connects to the server as it asks for the password and authenticates OK, but does not download mail. Also when it turns around to send I get a cannot connect to port 25 error.

I'm running the server on my LAN behind a router with NAT. Both ports 110 and 25 are open and routed to this PC. When I close port 110 I'll get an error when trying to connect so I know its working. When I close 25 OR open it though there is no impact on the port 25 error message being received.

    Any thoughts or ideas?

    Brian
