Hey Friends
I'm using Redhat Linux AS 3. I have a new broadband connection which I'm using through winXP which is my 2nd operating system. I need to configure
my broadband to Linux. I configured my ethernet card and in the mozilla web browser I ping to my router where I was next almost configured it but the test failed at connecting to internet. I don't know how to create a dial-up connection
in Linux as we do in windows. please help for this next step...........

first i can`t understand when u r sayin u want to setup a broadband connection y r u configurin the dial-up connection
next as per ur question u can do the following
try to get the ip address of the router, if ur not sure abt the same
then run netconfig in the shell
this will change ur ipaddress try to give an ip to make ur pc and router in the same nw
also in the gateway field provide the ip of the server
i hope this will solve ur problem
