Minor permisisons issue

I created a user yesterday using Webmin called marta. I tried to have marta login to FTP (using FireFTP) and while she was able to login she only saw the root folder (/), to which she has no rights.

User joe (that is, me) automatically sees his home folder and has access to all the files in it.

Here is the results of ls -l

root@MyServer:/home# ls -l
total 12
drwxr-xr-x 2 root      nogroup   4096 2007-07-21 20:26 ftp
drwxr-xr-x 4 joe joe 4096 2007-07-25 20:40 joe
drwxr-xr-x 2 marta users     4096 2007-07-24 21:30 marta

I am a member of my own group 'joe' while marta is a member of 'users'. What I find strange is that she is listed as the folder owner, yet cannot see it?

Figured it out (so far). User marta was not added to users group. Once I put her in there I could see her home folder and subfolders/files
