my computer restarts in between while i am working. i have changed my RAM and got a new hard disk thinking that these will stop the problem. but they still continue to trouble me, any suggestions guys?
Sounds like a hardware problem, one due to overheating. Is this a laptop??
They are notorious for not having enough heatsink compound on them, Somethimes none at all. (had that situation on a laptop of mine).
Holsd old is your system? How much airflow is going though it?
A good cleaning might be all it needs as well.
Give us a few more details please.... Also what linux distro are you using?
