    executing code on Fat32 partition

    Hi,

*I was compiling some C++ code on a fat32 partition that I mount on start up.

when it seems to compile fine but doesnt let me execute it. *how can set fstab up to let me do this. here is the entry I use to mount it.I believe i've tried to add x where rw are, another time but that didn't seem to work either.

    /dev/hda6 * * * * * * * /mnt/data * * * * * * * vfat * *user,rw,nosuid,noexec,nodev,umask=0 0 0

    thanx,

    /dev/hda6 /mnt/data vfat user,rw,nosuid,noexec,nodev,umask=0 0 0
Well the noexec wouldn't have anything to do with it now would it ?

Oops...I was wondering the same thing about executable programs on my fat32 drive (wine wouldn't run the program). Now I believe that I will be running home in the morning to see what the permissions are on my fat32 drive.
