Apache is much secure-er and stable-er
    than anything from m$.

There isn't a ISA server for linux, instead it is called a simpel Firewall with Proxy capabilleties, windows call theirs for ISA, it stands for Internet Security and Acceleration server.
In order to accomplish this, you need to read up on the Firewall and Proxy howto, aswell as the Transparent proxy through SQUID howto.

Then you'd realise a proxy server based on a SQUID caching server will do exactly what you need, and it will be a breeze to configure a Fully transparent proxy server for your needs.

Archana: depending the version of linux you are running, you probably have Openoffice included in the package. Openoffice is an open source word processor, and is super-dooper!. It will save in many different foremats including .txt

Archana, get on to a windows system. Copy all the .doc files in a folder. Change there extensions to .txt. Copy them back to a linux system. Would this work for you?!

    # for i in *.doc ; do abiword --to=txt $i ; done
    Use abiword to convert filetypes
And Explorer please give some helpful advice instead of these brainless replys.
