    Network File System (NFS)

    i have configure nfs on both server and clint side and on both sides NFS is runing.when i typed this command as root

    mount x.x.x.x:/home /mnt/nfs
    the folwing error generatd

    mount: RPC: Timed out

    any one there who can help me please

    find result

    i have solve this problum by stoping iptables at client side....

    /etc/init.d/iptables stop

    You can also try with fstab.Put an entry in client in /etc/fstab.Put the NFS server ip typ nfs and mount directories.
