Hi,
How can one know when was the last time internet was accessed? Thanks..

This is a useless goal really without looking for more. What I mean here is that there are a tonne of tools that need the internet to work, many of which you probably are running now:
TIme server
Weather applet
Updater utility
RSS feed catcher
Podcatcher
See what I mean? Now, if you were to ask
"I need to know if a particular spyware is on my system, here is a tcpdump from 0:00 - 12:00 on Saturday"
Then we would have a meaningful response. But with all the chatter going on, this is a tough call. Hope you understand why there is little real meat to your question. With modern OS's, the OS chats far too much with the network. Literally, you probably can guess and be close enough for a cigar with about 5 minutes or less.
Thanks and apolozies,
All I am after is the last time and date when I connected to the net with Firefox browser. I am the last time and date when I surfed the net, not any of the daemons/services etc that you have mentioned. Apolozies as I am a newbie. Thanks again mate..
