AFAIK, Java is natively supported in 64 bits as I'm using 64 bits Ubuntu and I have no problem viewing any java based sites like my bank. BUT I don't think there is any flash plugin yet since the legal issue can't be resolved. So I cant' watch YouTube stuff. That's about the only thing I miss although I don't have to see non-sense sites using flash for displaying logo which is a good thing.
compunuts, have you tried Gnash with your 64 bit system? I also have Debian 64 installed.
I did install gnash but some reason I can't get it to work with firefox, and it works fine with epiphany.
As far as java, I do have it installed also but need the plugin, the Misses demand it!![]()
