    MRTG cfgmaker withSNMPv3

Has anyone had any luck in using MRTG cfgmaker with SNMPv3?

I need to use SNMPv3 for its encrypted output. the snmwalk and snmpget commands work fine, but depending on the version of Fedora i get the following errors.

    Code:
SNMP V3 requires a --username parameter as part of the User Security Model for router securev3user@192.168.1.100:::::3 at ./cfgmaker line 121.
Undefined subroutine &main::snmpmapOID called at ./cfgmaker line 1480.
    Unknown option: enablesnmpv3
The --enablesnmpv3 is in the documentation, but appears to only be supported with the very latest MRTG version 2.15, which isn't standard with FC6.

The undefined subroutine message appears with MRTG v2.15, which looks like a missing library problem.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated. There is nothing in /var/log/messages.

I found the solution. You need to install MRTG version 2.15 or higher and install the Net::SNMP PERL module.
